Day 1

  • Morning: Start from Udupi and head towards Mangalore. Visit the Kadri Manjunath Temple, known for its ancient Buddhist origins and later transformation into a Hindu shrine. Continue to Mangaladevi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Mangaladevi, after whom the city is named.
  • Afternoon: Explore Sultan Battery, a historic watchtower built by Tipu Sultan, followed by a visit to Panambur Beach for a relaxing coastal experience.
  • Evening: Drive to Moodbidri, known as the Jain Kashi of the South, and visit the 1000 Pillar Temple (Saavira Kambada Basadi), a stunning Jain temple with intricate carvings.
